Hello, well friends. My name is Jamie, and I am so glad you are here.

If we were sitting together over coffee, which is one of my favorite things, I’d tell you that this space was created for women in the season of life where things feel full: raising children, supporting aging parents, managing careers, managing households, supporting relationships and trying (somewhere in there) to still feel like yourself.

I know this season well.

I lived it — and I’m still living parts of it now.

And like so many women, I spent years trying to hold everything together… while quietly falling to the bottom of my own list.

How Wellfriend Coaching Began

I love my profession in wellness coaching and I have spent many years of my life training, learning, building and pouring into my career. After having my three children, my passion for this work continued, and I tried to find ways to juggle it all. Until finally, I couldn’t.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something important:

I was trying my best to take care of everything and everyone, except myself.

As a person who loves to learn and strives to solve problems, I tried to read more books, try more organizational systems, and do anything I could think of to find more time. However, the more I tried to push through, the more exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected I became. I knew something had to change — now I am working to reshape my life in small, steady, doable ways that fit inside real everyday life.

With a background in health, behavior change, and coaching, I know:

Women don’t need more pressure.
They don’t need more rules, more programs, more “shoulds,” or more perfection.

They need permission and space to pause, practical support, and a compassionate thinking partner while they experiment and learn how to take care of themselves again.

They need a well friend.

And so this business — and this blog — were born.

My Coaching Philosophy

I believe that…

Small steps count. Tiny changes practiced consistently create big shifts.
Self-care doesn’t need to be fancy or fluffy. Sometimes it’s a walk, a breath, or saying “not today.”
Reflection is powerful. We can’t change what we don’t acknowledge.
You are already doing your best. And you deserve support as you grow.

My goal is simple:
To help you develop small, consistent actions that lead to meaningful change — not after life gets easier, but while you’re living it.
